Worth the weight

I've always been the type where if I gain weight I'd freak out then diet and work out like crazy! So far with this pregnancy I've gained about 20 lbs and I'm about a week away from being 7 months. My doctor wants me to gain about 35 pounds. At first I was freaking out thinking I'd gain too much too soon but my doctor says I'm fine. For once in my life I'm not counting calories and I know that this little guy is going to be well worth all the weight! Ahhhh I can't wait for July to get here so I can meet him!

26 weeks!

Today I'm 26 weeks! Woo hoo! Almost to the 3rd trimester! I can't beleive how fast this pregnancy is going. Thursday I had an OB appointment and everything went great. Jaxson is doing amazing and has been kicking and moving like crazy. I just love it! After my appointment I got my Rhogam shot and took the 1 hour Glucose Test. The orange drink wasn't too bad but it was so sweet and sugary that I felt sick afterwards lol. I'm hoping I don't have to go back for the 3 hour test lol. Chris thinks the Glucose Test made Jaxson hyper because he was kicking like crazy for the rest of the day. I can see him moving from the outside now so that's really cool. Chris felt him kick for the first time last night! He still hasn't seen my belly move yet though lol.

This last week has been really nerve wrecking for us because we lost Carson at 25 weeks. We've finally made it to 26 weeks and I just pray that everything goes smoothly with this baby. We know Carson is up in Heaven watching over us all. I have a good feeling about this pregnancy. Well I'm going to go watch some TV with Chris. Hope everyone has a GREAT weekend!

No corrections!!

Last week I turned in one of my assignments. I had to transcribe 10 different "documents". 7 chart notes and 3 letters. You turn in all 10 as a draft and the teacher will return them to you and let you know what corrections to make. After you make the corrections you turn in the final draft and get your grade. I got an email from my teacher today that said "Good job!! No corrections are needed and you do not need to re-submit it." I was so excited! Hopefully the other documents I have to transcribe over the next few weeks wont require any corrections! That'd be nice! Well I better go finish getting ready. We have an FRG meeting to go to tonight.

Soooo stressed

Today has been 8 months since Carson was born. I can't believe time has gone by so fast. I miss him so much! I really wish he was here with us. I kept thinking of him on Easter and I just pray that he knows how much we love and miss him. I love you baby boy!!

School is pretty stressful. The homework takes so much time and it's not the easiest. I can't wait to be done with this class! My teacher still hasn't responded to any emails so that's really annoying. I think I'm going to call the school tomorrow and see what's up. She did reply to one email but didn't answer the questions I needed answer so what was the point? On a good note I found out from a classmate that I don't have to buy the piece of equipment for the class if I don't want to. So that saves $170 bucks! I'm still waiting to hear back from my teacher though to see if that's true. I'm hoping the class will go by fast since it's keeping me so busy! I'll be done sometime mid-end June. Woo hoo! I think I still have at least 2 classes left after that though.

The baby has been moving so much lately! I can't believe how active he is! I love it though! I never got to feel Carson, so this is just amazing. Today I was able to feel him kick on the outside of my belly for the first time. I've thought I've felt it before but this was deff. a kick that you could feel on the outside lol. I'm excited that we've agreed on his name but we can't decide on how to spell Jaxon. It will probably either be Jaxon or Jaxson. I'm hoping the next 3 months go by fast. I can't wait to meet him! Tiffany gets to find out what she's having this Thursday and I can't wait!! I'm so excited for her! She's gonna be a great momma and I can't wait for our play dates with the babies!

Chris is trying to decide if he'll re-enlist or not. There's a couple of other jobs he interested in so we'll see if he decides to get out or stay in. Either way I'll support him. It'd be nice to have him home all the time and not worry about deployments so theirs pros and cons to staying in. He was talking to my uncle this weekend at the Easter dinner about getting out. We'll see what he decides. He has until August to make up his mind.

Well I just wanted to post an update. I better get back to some homework. I hope everyone had a GREAT Easter!

Frustrated

3 months before this class started I was told that I needed to purchase a Wav Player and that the bookstore doesn't sell them so I had to get it online. About a month before the class started I called the school and asked if it was okay to order it because I wanted it to be here on time with shipping and everything. The woman I spoke with told me not to get it yet because I needed to wait until my teacher told me which one to get. So I waited. Monday my class started and all my homework for this week is due Sunday by midnight. Well guess what?! One of my assignments requires the Wav Player that I DON'T have! I emailed my teacher Monday and asked if I could buy it yet and she never replied! She says allow up to 24 hours for a response and I've emailed her twice and haven't heard back from her! Today I had to call the school and they said that I shouldn't have been told to wait to buy it but they'll have the teacher contact me to tell me which one to get. I'm still waiting to hear from her. I don't want my assignments to be turned in late because I don't have the Wav Player! Ughh...sooooo annoying!

Besides being stressed and frustrated with school everything else is going pretty good. Chris is trying to decide if he's going to re-enlist or not. He has to make up his mind by August because he's supposed to get out of the Army in November. As of right now I think he's going to re-enlist but we wont get any $$$ for it because the Army is all out of money for bonuses so that sucks! lol. The baby seems to be doing great and I'm excited for my next appointment! Well I better get going. I'm going to finish up the last few assignments I have that I can do without the Wav Player! My new class...

Today I started my new class. I'm taking Basic Medical Transcription. I'm already NOT liking it... AT ALL. lol It looks VERY difficult and there's TONNNNS of homework. When I was reading the information section about the course it said that the homework will take 15-20 hours a week! That's just crazy! It takes the same amount of time as a part time job! I can't believe it. Hopefully it wont be too tough and I'll do okay with it. I think I'm so scared about it because I'm having to use a new website and not the one I used with my other classes, so I'm not used to it. Hopefully it wont take long and I'll be able to catch on to the new site. I'm nervous about it though lol.

Other than starting my new class everything else is pretty much the same lol. We've finally decided on a name for the baby! His name will be Jaxson Scott. We aren't sure if we'll spell it Jaxson or Jackson yet but I just love the name! Scott is my brothers middle name. Jaxson has been moving around like crazy lately. He's so much more active than little Carson was. My next appointment is the 23rd of this month and I'm anxious to see if my placenta has moved all the way up. Hopefully it has!

I can't believe Carson has been gone for almost 8 months. We miss him so much! I think about him several times a day every day. I can't help but to wonder what he'd look like or what his personality would be like. I just wish we would have had more time with him. I just know that he's our little angel in Heaven and he's watching over us and his little brother.

Well I just wanted to post a quick update! I better get back to my homework since I have so much of it! Ughh....

Almost 23 weeks! Yikes!

Wow this pregnancy is going by soooo fast! Tomorrow I'll be 23 weeks! Last weekend we went to Babies R Us and got our little guy his crib bedding set! I was so excited! It's the only one we really fell in love with. We also got the matching wall hangings, light switch cover and lamp. We still have some other matchin pieces that we want to get though, like the rug, mobile, wall decals and night light. We also need to decide on which crib we want to get haha. There's so many to choose from! I can't wait to get the nursery all put together and for him to be here to enjoy it! July feels like FOREVER away, but my pregnancy has flown by so far! Hopefully it continues to go quickly! I think we've decided on a name...which is a huge step for us LOL. Well I just wanted to post a quick update.
