37 Week Appointment!!

Today I had my 37 week check up and my blood pressure was high again. It was 142/86. At my 36 week check up it was also high but they weren't too concerned because before that it had always been normal. Since it was high 2 weeks in a row my doctor sent me to get some blood work done in the lab and I also have to do a 24 hour urine collection to make sure I don't have protein in my urine (they're testing me for Pre Eclampsia). I also have to get another level 2 ultrasound done and until Jaxon arrives I need to go in for monitoring twice a week, every Monday and Thursday, in addition to my weekly OB visit. If my 24 hour urine comes back that there is protein then they will induce me right away, otherwise I'll still be induced at 39 weeks which would be the 24th. I'm nervous about the high blood pressure so hopefully I don't have Pre Eclampsia. She said for now I have Gestational Hypertension. The good news is though that I'm 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced! She said my cervix i super soft so that will make the induction process easier. I'm still kind of hoping I go into labor on my own before my induction date lol. I'm so ready! I'm also excited because next week my regular doctor will be back from some training thing the Army sent him to so that'll be nice that I wont have to be seeing new doctors towards the end of my pregnancy. Oh and I also found out that my Group B Strep test was negative. Now I just need to start my 24 hour urine collection tomorrow and we'll hopefully have the results early next week.

Bored

With school finished until next month I'm so bored! I have pretty much everything ready for Jaxon. I only have a couple more loads of his laundry to do and then everything will be all set. I feel like these next few weeks are going to go by sooooo slow. Ughhhhh hurry up Friday so I can find out my induction date!

Happy 4th of July!!

Happy 4th of July everyone! Tonight we're having Chris' friend Roy and his wife and daughter over for a BBQ and then we're going to head to the fireworks on post. I'm glad it's not raining this year but I wish it wasn't so hot out lol. I didn't go to the fireworks on postl ast year since we were at a family reunion in Oklahoma but when I went 2 years ago the fireworks were REALLY good, so hopefully they're just as god this year!

I had my 36 week appointment on the 2nd and Jaxon turned and he is now head down! WOO HOO! I didn't think he was ever going to turn! I now go to my doctor every week and I find out at my appointment on the 10th what day I'll be induced. My doctor wants me induced at 39 weeks which would be July 24th but he's outta town until the 19th so hopefully the doctor I'm seeing while he's gone will follow what he says! I'm so excited for him to get here! We have just around 20 days!! YAY!

Well I better go finish cleaning up the kitchen before the BBQ. I'm going to make a yummy fruit pizza! Hope everyone has a safe 4th!

Packing Jaxon's bag

I got a package in the mail from Christy today and she sent me the cutest diaper bag and onesies!! I LOVE them! So tonight I think I'm going to pack Jaxon's diaper bag for the hospital. I already made a list of what I need to pack for me and for him so I'll just need to get everything put in there. I wont be packing mine until later though since pretty much everything I need to take I'll be using up until I go. I figured it was probably about time to start packing since I'm 35 weeks today. I can't wait to meet him!!!

What's going to happen next...

Chris was first told that he would be deploying in October 2009 even though he was supposed to be getting out of the Army in November 2009. He was told that he would be stop lossed. Well a few months later they told him nevermind he wouldn't be stop lossed. Today on his way home for lunch his friend who is supposed to be getting out of the Army a month after him, called to say that he checked online and the Army has changed his ETS date to 2010 so he told Chris to check his. Chris checked and his has been changed to December 2010. So now we aren't sure what the heck is going on. We don't know if he's stop lossed or if this is a mistake. We're just playing the waiting game trying to figure out what's going on. Chris called his Sgt. who said "well it looks like you've been stop lossed" so we'll see if he's right or not. I feel like a bitch for saying this but it a way it might be a blessing if he's stop lossed. I've been so stressed worrying about him find a job with the way the economy is. I know Chris is a hard worker and that he'd be looking everyday for a job but the economy what scares me. If he is stop lossed that'll give the economy a year to get better and it would give us a chance to save a LOT of moeny. So I'm kinda hoping that's what happens. I don't think Chris would mind it too much but he's pretty bummed about maybe missing the first year of Jaxon's life...but that's what happens when you're military. He's afraid Jaxon wont know who he is when he comes home but I assured him that he will. So for now I guess we have NO idea what's going to happen and all we can do is wait and see. Hopefully everything works out!

I'm done!

With my class! Woo Hoo! Now I just need to find out when my next class starts. I'm hoping it's after the baby's born so I have time to finish getting everything ready for him. Now I just need these next few weeks to fly by so I can be done with this pregnancy haha. I'm ready to meet Jaxon and hold him in my arms! I'm still REALLY paranoid that something is going to go wrong so I just can't wait for him to be here safe and sound.

Finals

This week is finals. I cannot wait to be done with this class! When I'm finally finished I'll be able to finish getting ready for Jaxon! I feel like I still have so much to do! Only like 38-ish days until he's here! Maybe less! LOL I can't wait!!
